Guided Meditation for Trusting your Intuition

Last week’s guided meditation focused on trusting your gut. It is available on the Therapize Youtube Channel here.

An excerpt from the affirmations portion of the meditation:

In a world of rushing, and disconnect, and unsolicited advice, it’s easy to lose sight of our intuition.

Our gut.

I encourage you to have the courage to return to your connection to the guidance within you.

Your gut instinct.

The microbiomes that define you also provide you with an intuitive inner compass, connected to the universe at large.

Who are the “they” whose opinion infiltrates your life decisions.

Let go of worry over what they think, or what they are doing, or what it will look like to them.

Do not worry about what could happen. Or what allegedly should happen.

Replace worry with trust.

Trust that your gut will guide you in the direction you need.

Trust that it will not necessarily be easy, but it will without a doubt be rewarding.

Take this moment to reflect on a decision that’s been weighing on your mind.

What has your inner voice been telling you? What have you opted to ignore?

Listen to your truth. Soak it in.

The other voices – the judgments, the fears, the opinions – they don’t serve you in the way your own gut does.

Our intuition empowers us to live authentically and openly, as long as we are brave enough to listen. So listen now.

Your life is yours. No one else’s.

When we are living for others, we are not truly living.

When we don’t live for ourselves, we cannot truly show up for others.

Show up for yourself in your life in the same way you have tonight.

With openness, and connection, and trust.

Take the time this week to align with that intuition. Trust it freely.

Let it guide you in the direction it is demanding.

And cultivate trust for your inner truth, for it is the most sincere truth there is.
